Prohibition of wine and teaching duty for the priests
The Lord gives Aaron and his sons an eternal statute to abstain from wine and strong drink when serving in the tent of meeting, and commands them to distinguish between holy and common and to teach the Israelites all the Lord's statutes.
3. Mose 10,8-11
8The LORD spoke to Aaron:
וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֖ן לֵאמֹֽר׃
9"You and your sons with you are not to drink wine or strong drink when you enter the tent of meeting, or you will die. This is a lasting statute through all your generations,
יַ֣יִן וְשֵׁכָ֞ר אַל־תֵּ֣שְׁתְּ ׀ אַתָּ֣ה ׀ וּבָנֶ֣יךָ אִתָּ֗ךְ בְּבֹאֲכֶ֛ם אֶל־אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד וְלֹ֣א תָמֻ֑תוּ חֻקַּ֥ת עוֹלָ֖ם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶֽם׃
10so that you can distinguish between the holy and the common, between the unclean and the clean,
וּֽלֲהַבְדִּ֔יל בֵּ֥ין הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ וּבֵ֣ין הַחֹ֑ל וּבֵ֥ין הַטָּמֵ֖א וּבֵ֥ין הַטָּהֽוֹר׃
11and so that you can teach the Israelites all the statutes that the LORD has spoken to them through Moses."
וּלְהוֹרֹ֖ת אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל אֵ֚ת כָּל־הַ֣חֻקִּ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֧ר יְהוָ֛ה אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם בְּיַד־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ פ
