Baasha becomes king over Israel
In the third year of Asa king of Judah, Baasha son of Ahijah became king over all Israel in Tirzah. He reigned for twenty-four years and did what was evil in the Lord's sight, walking in the way of Jeroboam and in the sin he caused Israel to commit. 1. Kongebok 15:33-34

33In the third year of Asa king of Judah, Baasha son of Ahijah became king over all Israel in Tirzah, and he reigned twenty-four years.
בִּשְׁנַ֣ת שָׁלֹ֔שׁ לְאָסָ֖א מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֑ה מָ֠לַךְ בַּעְשָׁ֨א בֶן־אֲחִיָּ֤ה עַל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בְּתִרְצָ֔ה עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וְאַרְבַּ֖ע שָׁנָֽה׃
34He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, walking in the way of Jeroboam and in the sin he had led Israel to commit.
וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַיֵּ֙לֶךְ֙ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ יָרָבְעָ֔ם וּבְ֨חַטָּאת֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֶחֱטִ֖יא אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ ס
