The Sounding Spring in Lehi
After the great victory, Samson becomes very thirsty and cries out to the Lord. God splits the hollow at Lehi, and water flows out so that Samson can drink and regain his strength. The place is called "The Sounding Spring in Lehi".
Richter 15,18-19
18He was very thirsty, so he called out to the LORD: "You have given your servant this great victory. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?"
וַיִּצְמָא֮ מְאֹד֒ וַיִּקְרָ֤א אֶל־יְהוָה֙ וַיֹּאמַ֔ר אַתָּה֙ נָתַ֣תָּ בְיַֽד־עַבְדְּךָ֔ אֶת־הַתְּשׁוּעָ֥ה הַגְּדֹלָ֖ה הַזֹּ֑את וְעַתָּה֙ אָמ֣וּת בַּצָּמָ֔א וְנָפַלְתִּ֖י בְּיַ֥ד הָעֲרֵלִֽים׃
19Then God split open the hollow place at Lehi, and water came out of it. Samson drank, his strength returned, and he revived. That is why the spring is called En Hakkore, and it is at Lehi to this day.
וַיִּבְקַ֨ע אֱלֹהִ֜ים אֶת־הַמַּכְתֵּ֣שׁ אֲשֶׁר־בַּלֶּ֗חִי וַיֵּצְא֨וּ מִמֶּ֤נּוּ מַ֙יִם֙ וַיֵּ֔שְׁתְּ וַתָּ֥שָׁב רוּח֖וֹ וַיֶּ֑חִי עַל־כֵּ֣ן ׀ קָרָ֣א שְׁמָ֗הּ עֵ֤ין הַקּוֹרֵא֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּלֶּ֔חִי עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
