The Judgeship of Jair
After Tola, Jair from Gilead arises and judges Israel for twenty-two years. He has thirty sons who ride on thirty donkey colts and control thirty towns in Gilead, known as the villages of Jair. When he dies, he is buried in Kamon. Judges 10:3-5

3After him rose Jair the Gileadite, who judged Israel twenty-two years.
וַיָּ֣קָם אַחֲרָ֔יו יָאִ֖יר הַגִּלְעָדִ֑י וַיִּשְׁפֹּט֙ אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וּשְׁתַּ֖יִם שָׁנָֽה׃
4He had thirty sons who rode on thirty donkeys, and they had thirty towns in the land of Gilead, which to this day are called Havvoth-jair.*
וַֽיְהִי־ל֞וֹ שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים בָּנִ֗ים רֹֽכְבִים֙ עַל־שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים עֲיָרִ֔ים וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים עֲיָרִ֖ים לָהֶ֑ם לָהֶ֞ם יִקְרְא֣וּ ׀ חַוֺּ֣ת יָאִ֗יר עַ֚ד הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּאֶ֥רֶץ הַגִּלְעָֽד׃
5Then Jair died and was buried in Kamon.
וַיָּ֣מָת יָאִ֔יר וַיִּקָּבֵ֖ר בְּקָמֽוֹן׃ פ
