Christ as the Image of God and Creator of All Things
A deep theological description of Jesus Christ's supreme role as the invisible image of God, the creator of the entire universe, the head of the church, and the one who makes peace through his blood on the cross.
Kolosser 1,15-20
15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
16For in him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.
17He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
18And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that in everything he might be preeminent.
19For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,
20and through him to reconcile all things to himself, making peace by the blood of his cross—whether things on earth or things in heaven.
