Temple Servant Who Returned from Exile

Gahar was the ancestor of a family of Nethinim (temple servants) who returned to Jerusalem from the Babylonian exile. His descendants are mentioned in the lists of those who returned with Zerubbabel. The temple servants played an important role in supporting the Levites in the temple service.
