Los milagros de Jesús
The Demon in the Synagogue at Capernaum
On the Sabbath, Jesus teaches in the synagogue at Capernaum, and people are amazed by his teaching, for he teaches with authority and not like the scribes. A man with an unclean spirit cries out: "What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God!" Jesus speaks sternly to the spirit and says: "Be silent and come out of him!" The unclean spirit convulses the man, cries out loudly, and comes out of him. Everyone is filled with awe and discusses what this new teaching is – he even commands the unclean spirits, and they obey him. The news about Jesus spreads quickly throughout Galilee.
Marcos 1,21-28
21They went into Capernaum, and right away, on the Sabbath, he entered the synagogue and began to teach.
22They were astounded at his teaching, for he taught them as one who had authority, not as the scribes.
23Just then, in their synagogue, there was a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,
24"What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!"
25But Jesus rebuked him: "Be silent, and come out of him!"
26The unclean spirit convulsed the man, shrieked with a loud voice, and came out of him.
27They were all so amazed that they debated among themselves: "What is this? A new teaching—and with authority! He even commands the unclean spirits, and they obey him."
28And news about him spread at once through the whole surrounding region of Galilee.
Lucas 4,31-37
31Then he went down to Capernaum, a town in Galilee, and he was teaching the people there on the Sabbath days.
32They were amazed at his teaching, because his word carried authority.
33In the synagogue there was a man possessed by the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out at the top of his voice,
34"Ha! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!"
35But Jesus rebuked him: "Be silent, and come out of him!" Then the demon threw the man down in front of them all and came out of him without doing him any harm.
36Astonishment came over them all, and they said to one another, "What kind of message is this? With authority and power he gives orders to the unclean spirits, and out they come!"
καὶ ἐγένετο θάμβος ἐπὶ πάντας, καὶ συνελάλουν πρὸς ἀλλήλους λέγοντες· Τίς ὁ λόγος οὗτος ὅτι ἐν ἐξουσίᾳ καὶ δυνάμει ἐπιτάσσει τοῖς ἀκαθάρτοις πνεύμασιν, καὶ ἐξέρχονται;
37And the report about him spread to every place in the surrounding region.
