The Lord gives Israel rest and fulfills the promise
The chapter ends with a summary: The Lord gave Israel the whole land he had sworn to give their fathers, gave them rest on every side, and not one word of all the good things he had spoken failed to come true—everything was fulfilled Josh 21:43-45.
Josué 21,43-45
43So the LORD gave Israel all the land he had sworn to give their fathers, and they took possession of it and settled there.
וַיִ[t]תֵּ֤ן יְהוָה֙ לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶת־כָּ֨[c]ל־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִשְׁבַּ֖ע לָתֵ֣ת לַאֲבוֹתָ֑ם וַיִּרָשׁ֖וּהָ וַיֵּ֥שְׁבוּ בָֽהּ׃
44The LORD gave them rest on every side, just as he had sworn to their fathers. Not one of their enemies could stand against them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hands.
וַיָּ֨נַח יְהוָ֤ה לָהֶם֙ מִסָּבִ֔יב כְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־נִשְׁבַּ֖ע לַאֲבוֹתָ֑ם וְלֹא־עָ֨מַד אִ֤ישׁ בִּפְנֵיהֶם֙ מִכָּל־אֹ֣יְבֵיהֶ֔ם אֵ֚ת כָּל־אֹ֣יְבֵיהֶ֔ם נָתַ֥ן יְהוָ֖ה בְּיָדָֽם׃
45Not one word failed of all the good things the LORD had promised the house of Israel; every one of them came true.
לֹֽא־נָפַ֣ל דָּבָ֔ר מִכֹּל֙ הַדָּבָ֣ר הַטּ֔וֹב אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל הַכֹּ֖ל בָּֽא׃ פ
