The Woman's Cry and Jesus' Answer
While Jesus was speaking, a woman in the crowd called out that blessed is the womb that bore him and the breasts he nursed. Jesus answered that rather blessed are those who hear God's word and keep it. Luke 11:27-28
Lucas 11,27-28
27As he was saying these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, "Blessed is the womb that carried you and the breasts that nursed you!"
Ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν τῷ λέγειν αὐτὸν ταῦτα ἐπάρασά τις ⸂φωνὴν γυνὴ⸃ ἐκ τοῦ ὄχλου εἶπεν αὐτῷ· Μακαρία ἡ κοιλία ἡ βαστάσασά σε καὶ μαστοὶ οὓς ἐθήλασας·
28But he said, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it."
αὐτὸς δὲ εἶπεν· ⸀Μενοῦν μακάριοι οἱ ἀκούοντες τὸν λόγον τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ⸀φυλάσσοντες.
