Oil for the lampstand and the bread of the Presence
The Lord commands the children of Israel to bring pure, crushed olive oil for the light, so that the lamp may burn continually before the face of the Lord in the tent of meeting, and Aaron shall tend it from evening until morning outside the veil before the testimony. On the pure lampstand the lamps are to be set up at all times. Furthermore, twelve loaves shall be baked from fine flour, each weighing two-tenths of an ephah, and placed in two rows on the pure table, with pure frankincense as a memorial offering and a food offering to the Lord. Every Sabbath day the breads are to be set out before the face of the Lord as a perpetual covenant from the children of Israel, and they belong to Aaron and his sons, who shall eat them in a holy place Lev 24:2-9.
3Outside the curtain of the testimony in the tent of meeting, Aaron shall tend them before the LORD from evening until morning, continually. This is a lasting statute for your generations.
9It belongs to Aaron and his sons, who are to eat it in a holy place, for it is most holy to him from the offerings made to the LORD by fire—his portion forever.
