Shelomith was an Israelite woman from the tribe of Dan, daughter of Dibri. She is known from Leviticus where her son, who had an Egyptian father, blasphemed and cursed God's name in the camp, leading God to give Moses the law concerning punishment for blasphemy.

The Lord spoke to Moses and commanded that all who heard the blasphemy should lay their hands on the guilty person's head, and the whole congregation should stone him.
16Whoever blasphemes the name of the LORD must be put to death; the whole assembly is to stone him. Foreigner and native-born alike, whoever blasphemes the Name must die.
The Israelites took the son of Shelomith outside the camp and stoned him, just as the Lord had commanded Moses. This set a precedent for how blasphemy should be handled.
