Healing of Many Sick and Oppressed
When evening came, people brought many who were oppressed to Jesus. He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick, fulfilling what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: 'He took our afflictions and bore our diseases.'

16That evening they brought him many who were possessed by demons, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick.
Ὀψίας δὲ γενομένης προσήνεγκαν αὐτῷ δαιμονιζομένους πολλούς· καὶ ἐξέβαλεν τὰ πνεύματα λόγῳ, καὶ πάντας τοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας ἐθεράπευσεν·
17This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: "He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases."
ὅπως πληρωθῇ τὸ ῥηθὲν διὰ Ἠσαΐου τοῦ προφήτου λέγοντος· Αὐτὸς τὰς ἀσθενείας ἡμῶν ἔλαβεν καὶ τὰς νόσους ἐβάστασεν.
