Jesus Sends Out the Twelve
Jesus called the twelve to himself and sent them out two by two, giving them authority over unclean spirits. He instructed them not to take anything for the journey except a staff—no bread, no bag, no money in their belts. They were to wear sandals but not an extra shirt. Wherever they entered a house, they were to stay there until they left that place. If any place would not welcome them or listen to them, they were to shake the dust off their feet as a testimony against them. The disciples went out and preached that people should repent. They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.Mark 6:7-13

7He called the Twelve to him and began to send them out two by two, giving them authority over the unclean spirits.
καὶ προσκαλεῖται τοὺς δώδεκα, καὶ ἤρξατο αὐτοὺς ἀποστέλλειν δύο δύο, καὶ ἐδίδου αὐτοῖς ἐξουσίαν τῶν πνευμάτων τῶν ἀκαθάρτων,
8He instructed them to take nothing for the road except a staff—no bread, no bag, no money in their belts—
καὶ παρήγγειλεν αὐτοῖς ἵνα μηδὲν αἴρωσιν εἰς ὁδὸν εἰ μὴ ῥάβδον μόνον, μὴ ⸂ἄρτον, μὴ πήραν⸃, μὴ εἰς τὴν ζώνην χαλκόν,
9but to wear sandals, and not to put on two tunics.
ἀλλὰ ὑποδεδεμένους σανδάλια, καὶ μὴ ⸀ἐνδύσησθε δύο χιτῶνας.
10He said to them, "Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you leave that place.
καὶ ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς· Ὅπου ⸀ἐὰν εἰσέλθητε εἰς οἰκίαν, ἐκεῖ μένετε ἕως ἂν ἐξέλθητε ἐκεῖθεν.
11And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, shake the dust off your feet as you leave, as a testimony against them."
καὶ ⸂ὃς ἂν τόπος μὴ δέξηται⸃ ὑμᾶς μηδὲ ἀκούσωσιν ὑμῶν, ἐκπορευόμενοι ἐκεῖθεν ἐκτινάξατε τὸν χοῦν τὸν ὑποκάτω τῶν ποδῶν ὑμῶν εἰς μαρτύριον ⸀αὐτοῖς.
12So they went out and preached that people should repent.
Καὶ ἐξελθόντες ⸀ἐκήρυξαν ἵνα ⸀μετανοῶσιν,
13They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.
καὶ δαιμόνια πολλὰ ἐξέβαλλον, καὶ ἤλειφον ἐλαίῳ πολλοὺς ἀρρώστους καὶ ἐθεράπευον.
