Judas agrees to betray Jesus
Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, goes to the chief priests to betray Jesus. They are glad and promise him money, and he looks for a suitable opportunity to hand him over.

10Then Judas Iscariot, one of the Twelve, went to the chief priests to hand him over to them.
⸀Καὶ Ἰούδας ⸂Ἰσκαριὼθ ὁ⸃ εἷς τῶν δώδεκα ἀπῆλθεν πρὸς τοὺς ἀρχιερεῖς ἵνα αὐτὸν ⸂παραδοῖ αὐτοῖς⸃.
11They were delighted to hear it and promised to give him money. So he began looking for a good opportunity to betray him.
οἱ δὲ ἀκούσαντες ἐχάρησαν καὶ ἐπηγγείλαντο αὐτῷ ἀργύριον δοῦναι. καὶ ἐζήτει πῶς ⸂αὐτὸν εὐκαίρως παραδοῖ⸃.
