Paul and Barnabas Return to Antioch
After preaching the gospel in Derbe and winning many disciples, Paul and Barnabas return through Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch in Pisidia. They strengthen the disciples, encourage them to remain firm in the faith, and appoint elders in each church with prayer and fasting. Through Pisidia, Pamphylia, Perga, and Attalia, they sail back to Antioch, where they gather the church and report all that God had done, and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.

21They preached the gospel in that city and made many disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, to Iconium, and to Antioch,
Εὐαγγελισάμενοί τε τὴν πόλιν ἐκείνην καὶ μαθητεύσαντες ἱκανοὺς ὑπέστρεψαν εἰς τὴν Λύστραν καὶ ⸀εἰς Ἰκόνιον καὶ ⸁εἰς Ἀντιόχειαν,
22strengthening the souls of the disciples and encouraging them to remain firm in the faith. "We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God," they said.
ἐπιστηρίζοντες τὰς ψυχὰς τῶν μαθητῶν, παρακαλοῦντες ἐμμένειν τῇ πίστει καὶ ὅτι διὰ πολλῶν θλίψεων δεῖ ἡμᾶς εἰσελθεῖν εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ.
23They appointed elders for them in each congregation and, with prayer and fasting, committed them to the Lord in whom they had come to believe.
χειροτονήσαντες δὲ αὐτοῖς ⸂κατʼ ἐκκλησίαν πρεσβυτέρους⸃ προσευξάμενοι μετὰ νηστειῶν παρέθεντο αὐτοὺς τῷ κυρίῳ εἰς ὃν πεπιστεύκεισαν.
24Then they passed through Pisidia and came to Pamphylia,
καὶ διελθόντες τὴν Πισιδίαν ἦλθον εἰς ⸀τὴν Παμφυλίαν,
25and after preaching the word in Perga they went down to Attalia.
καὶ λαλήσαντες ἐν Πέργῃ τὸν λόγον κατέβησαν εἰς Ἀττάλειαν,
26From there they sailed back to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work they had now completed.
κἀκεῖθεν ἀπέπλευσαν εἰς Ἀντιόχειαν, ὅθεν ἦσαν παραδεδομένοι τῇ χάριτι τοῦ θεοῦ εἰς τὸ ἔργον ὃ ἐπλήρωσαν.
27On their arrival they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done with them, and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.
παραγενόμενοι δὲ καὶ συναγαγόντες τὴν ἐκκλησίαν ⸀ἀνήγγελλον ὅσα ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς μετʼ αὐτῶν καὶ ὅτι ἤνοιξεν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν θύραν πίστεως.
28And they stayed there a long time with the disciples.
διέτριβον ⸀δὲ χρόνον οὐκ ὀλίγον σὺν τοῖς μαθηταῖς.
