The Period of Tola
After Abimelech, Tola arose to save Israel. He was the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, from the tribe of Issachar. He lived in Shamir in the hill country of Ephraim and judged Israel for twenty-three years before he died and was buried in Shamir. Judges 10:1-2

1After Abimelech, Tola son of Puah, son of Dodo, a man of Issachar, rose up to deliver Israel. He lived in Shamir, in the hill country of Ephraim.
וַיָּקָם֩ אַחֲרֵ֨י אֲבִימֶ֜לֶךְ לְהוֹשִׁ֣יעַ אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל תּוֹלָ֧ע בֶּן־פּוּאָ֛ה בֶּן־דּוֹד֖וֹ אִ֣ישׁ יִשָּׂשכָ֑ר וְהֽוּא־יֹשֵׁ֥ב בְּשָׁמִ֖יר בְּהַ֥ר אֶפְרָֽיִם׃
2He judged Israel twenty-three years, and then he died and was buried in Shamir.
וַיִּשְׁפֹּט֙ אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וְשָׁלֹ֖שׁ שָׁנָ֑ה וַיָּ֖מָת וַיִּקָּבֵ֥ר בְּשָׁמִֽיר׃ פ
