Abinadab lived in Kiriath-jearim, and the Lord's ark of the covenant stood in his house for twenty years after the Philistines had returned it. His sons Uzza and Ahio drove the cart when David later retrieved it.

Houses the Ark of the Covenant
The ark of the covenant was brought to Abinadab's house in Kiriath-jearim, where it remained for many years.
1So the men of Kiriath-jearim came and took up the ark of the LORD and brought it to the house of Abinadab on the hill, and they consecrated his son Eleazar to keep watch over the ark of the LORD.
וַיָּבֹ֜אוּ אַנְשֵׁ֣י ׀ קִרְיַ֣ת יְעָרִ֗ים וֽ͏ַיַּעֲלוּ֙ אֶת־אֲר֣וֹן יְהוָ֔ה וַיָּבִ֣אוּ אֹת֔וֹ אֶל־בֵּ֥ית אֲבִינָדָ֖ב בַּגִּבְעָ֑ה וְאֶת־אֶלְעָזָ֤ר בְּנוֹ֙ קִדְּשׁ֔וּ לִשְׁמֹ֖ר אֶת־אֲר֥וֹן יְהוָֽה׃ פ
