Jahsera (also spelled Jisra or Jisva) is mentioned in 1 Chronicles as a descendant of Asher through his son Beriah. He appears in the genealogies of the tribe of Asher and is otherwise little mentioned in the Bible.
In the family tree of Jacob's sons in Genesis, the descendants of Asher are mentioned, including the sons of Beriah, among whom Jahsera (Jisva) is included.
The patriarch Jacob blessed his son Asher with the promise of rich food and royal delicacies, a blessing that applied to the entire lineage of Asher, including Jahsera.
