Nehushta was the daughter of Elnatan from Jerusalem and the mother of King Jehoiachin of Judah. She was taken into exile in Babylon along with her son when Nebuchadnezzar captured Jerusalem in 597 BC. She is one of the few royal women mentioned by name in connection with Judah's last kings.
