Meeting with Paul

Priscilla and Aquila welcomed Paul in Corinth after being expelled from Rome.

1After this Paul left Athens and went to Corinth.
2There he found a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had ordered all the Jews to leave Rome. Paul went to see them,
3and since they shared the same trade, he stayed and worked with them; they were tentmakers.

Instructed Apollos

When Apollos was preaching in Ephesus, they took him aside and explained the way of God more accurately.

24Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was an eloquent man, well versed in the Scriptures.
25He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and with burning enthusiasm he spoke and taught accurately the things concerning Jesus, though he knew only the baptism of John.
26He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained the way of God to him more accurately.

Church in the Home

Priscilla and Aquila held church gatherings in their home.

19The churches of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Prisca greet you warmly in the Lord, together with the church that meets in their house.
3Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus,
4who risked their own necks for my life. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them.
5Greet also the church that meets in their house. Greet my beloved Epaenetus, the first convert to Christ in Asia.
