The Return from Babylon

Tabbaot's descendants were among the many families that followed Zerubbabel back to Judah to rebuild the temple and restore worship in Jerusalem.

1These are the people of the province who came up out of the captivity of the exiles, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon. They returned to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his own town.

2They came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, and Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:

The Role of Temple Servants in the Rebuilding
