Togarmah was the son of Gomer and grandson of Japheth, one of Noah's sons. He is mentioned in Genesis as an ancestor of nations in the northern part of the known world, traditionally associated with Armenia and the Caucasus region. In prophetic texts in Ezekiel, Beth-Togarmah is mentioned as a trading partner with Tyre and as an ally of Gog.
