Jesus' Ascension from Bethany
Jesus led the disciples out toward Bethany, lifted his hands, and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he parted from them and was taken up into heaven. The disciples worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and they were continually in the temple praising God. Luke 24:50-53

50Then he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands, he blessed them.
Ἐξήγαγεν δὲ αὐτοὺς ⸀ἕως ⸀πρὸς Βηθανίαν, καὶ ἐπάρας τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ εὐλόγησεν αὐτούς.
51While he was blessing them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven.
καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ εὐλογεῖν αὐτὸν αὐτοὺς διέστη ἀπʼ αὐτῶν ⸂[καὶ ἀνεφέρετο εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν]⸃.
52And they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
καὶ αὐτοὶ ⸂[προσκυνήσαντες αὐτὸν]⸃ ὑπέστρεψαν εἰς Ἰερουσαλὴμ μετὰ χαρᾶς μεγάλης,
53and they were continually in the temple, praising God.
καὶ ἦσαν διὰ παντὸς ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ ⸀εὐλογοῦντες τὸν ⸀θεόν.
