Jesus urges people to walk in the light
Jesus urges the crowd to walk and believe in the light while they have it, so that they may become children of light. Then he goes away and hides himself from them.
Jean 12,35-36
35So Jesus said to them, "The light is among you a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, so that darkness does not overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.
εἶπεν οὖν αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Ἔτι μικρὸν χρόνον τὸ φῶς ⸂ἐν ὑμῖν⸃ ἐστιν. περιπατεῖτε ⸀ὡς τὸ φῶς ἔχετε, ἵνα μὴ σκοτία ὑμᾶς καταλάβῃ, καὶ ὁ περιπατῶν ἐν τῇ σκοτίᾳ οὐκ οἶδεν ποῦ ὑπάγει.
36While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become sons of light." After Jesus had said these things, he went away and hid from them.
⸀ὡς τὸ φῶς ἔχετε, πιστεύετε εἰς τὸ φῶς, ἵνα υἱοὶ φωτὸς γένησθε. Ταῦτα ⸀ἐλάλησεν Ἰησοῦς, καὶ ἀπελθὼν ἐκρύβη ἀπʼ αὐτῶν.
