Harhajah

Goldsmith and Wall Repairer in Jerusalem

Le retourLeaderc. 450 BC

Harhajah was the father of Uzziel, one of the goldsmiths who participated in rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem under Nehemiah's leadership. He is mentioned only in Nehemiah 3:8 in connection with the wall work, but his family's contribution shows the commitment among the craftsmen to rebuild the city after the exile.
