Koleja is a person mentioned in the book of Nehemiah in connection with the rebuilding of Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile. He is known as an ancestor or family member among those who settled in Jerusalem after the return. The name appears in genealogical lists and administrative records from this period.
After the return from exile, lots were cast to decide who would settle in the rebuilt Jerusalem. Koleja's descendants were among those who settled there.

21This is what the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, says about Ahab son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah son of Maaseiah, who are prophesying lies to you in my name: I am handing them over to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will put them to death before your eyes.
22Because of them this curse will be used by all the exiles of Judah in Babylon: "May the LORD make you like Zedekiah and Ahab, whom the king of Babylon burned in the fire."
23For they have done an outrageous thing in Israel: they committed adultery with their neighbors' wives and spoke lying words in my name, which I did not command them. I am the one who knows, and I am witness, declares the LORD.
The Lord announced through Jeremiah that Ahab, son of Kolaiah, and Zedekiah, son of Maaseiah, would be handed over to Nebuchadnezzar because of their false prophecies.
