Crispus was the ruler of the synagogue in Corinth who came to faith in Jesus Christ through the preaching of the apostle Paul. He and his entire household were baptized, and he became one of the few whom Paul personally baptized. His conversion was significant because it showed that even Jewish religious leaders responded to the gospel.
