Lamech (son of Methuselah, father of Noah)

Lamech was the son of Methuselah and the father of Noah. He is known for his prophetic utterance at Noah's birth, where he expressed hope for comfort from the curse on the earth. He lived in the ninth generation from Adam and died a few years before the flood.

Lamech lived to be 777 years old, and then he died. He died about five years before the flood came.
