Mishma was one of the twelve sons of Ishmael, Abraham's son through Hagar. He became the ancestor of one of the twelve Ishmaelite tribes. His name is also mentioned in the genealogy of Simeon in 1 Chronicles, where a descendant line with the same name appears.

The Death and Descendants of Ishmael
