The Invitation: Come, and Jesus' Final Words

Jesus confirms that he is coming soon with his reward to repay each person according to their deeds, and declares himself to be the Alpha and Omega, the Root of David, and the bright morning star. Blessed are those who wash their robes and gain access to the tree of life, while the unclean remain outside. The Spirit and the bride invite all who are thirsty to come and take the water of life freely.

Uppenbarelseboken 22,12-17

12"See, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to repay each one according to what he has done.
13I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city through its gates.
15Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright Morning Star."
17The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let the one who hears say, "Come!" Let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life as a gift.
