The Civil War between Omri and Tibni

The people of Israel split into two camps, with half supporting Tibni son of Ginat and the other half supporting Omri. Omri's supporters won, Tibni died, and Omri became king over Israel.

Första Kungaboken 16,21-22

21Then the people of Israel were split in two: half the people followed Tibni son of Ginath to make him king, and half followed Omri.
אָ֧ז יֵחָלֵ֛ק הָעָ֥ם יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לַחֵ֑צִי חֲצִ֨י הָעָ֜ם הָ֠יָה אַחֲרֵ֨י תִבְנִ֤י בֶן־גִּינַת֙ לְהַמְלִיכ֔וֹ וְהַחֲצִ֖י אַחֲרֵ֥י עָמְרִֽי׃ ‬
22But the people who followed Omri proved stronger than those who followed Tibni son of Ginath. So Tibni died, and Omri became king.
וַיֶּחֱזַ֤ק הָעָם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אַחֲרֵ֣י עָמְרִ֔י אֶת־הָעָ֕ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַחֲרֵ֖י תִּבְנִ֣י בֶן־גִּינַ֑ת וַיָּ֣מָת תִּבְנִ֔י וַיִּמְלֹ֖ךְ עָמְרִֽי׃ פ ‬
