The Expulsion and Deliverance of Daughter Zion
The Lord promises to gather the lame and the exiles into a mighty nation and to be king on Mount Zion. Daughter Zion must leave the city all the way to Babel, but there she will be saved and rescued from the hand of her enemies.
Mika 4,6-10
6On that day, declares the LORD, I will gather the lame and bring together the scattered, those I have afflicted.
בַּיּ֨וֹם הַה֜וּא נְאֻם־יְהוָ֗ה אֹֽסְפָה֙ הַצֹּ֣לֵעָ֔ה וְהַנִּדָּחָ֖ה אֲקַבֵּ֑צָה וַאֲשֶׁ֖ר הֲרֵעֹֽתִי׃
7I will make the lame a remnant and the exiled a mighty nation, and the LORD will reign over them on Mount Zion from now on and forever.
וְשַׂמְתִּ֤י אֶת־הַצֹּֽלֵעָה֙ לִשְׁאֵרִ֔ית וְהַנַּהֲלָאָ֖ה לְג֣וֹי עָצ֑וּם וּמָלַ֨ךְ יְהוָ֤ה עֲלֵיהֶם֙ בְּהַ֣ר צִיּ֔וֹן מֵעַתָּ֖ה וְעַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ פ
8And you, watchtower of the flock, stronghold of the daughter of Zion, to you it will come—the former dominion will return, the kingship of the daughter of Jerusalem.
וְאַתָּ֣ה מִגְדַּל־עֵ֗דֶר עֹ֛פֶל בַּת־צִיּ֖וֹן עָדֶ֣יךָ תֵּאתֶ֑ה וּבָאָ֗ה הַמֶּמְשָׁלָה֙ הָרִ֣אשֹׁנָ֔ה מַמְלֶ֖כֶת לְבַ֥ת יְרוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃
9Now why do you cry aloud? Is there no king among you? Has your counselor perished, that anguish grips you like a woman in labor?
עַתָּ֕ה לָ֥מָּה תָרִ֖יעִי רֵ֑עַ הֲמֶ֣לֶךְ אֵֽין־בָּ֗ךְ אִֽם־יוֹעֲצֵךְ֙ אָבָ֔ד כִּֽי־הֶחֱזִיקֵ֥ךְ חִ֖יל כַּיּוֹלֵדָֽה׃
10Writhe and groan, daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you must leave the city and camp in the open field. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued, there the LORD will redeem you from the hand of your enemies.
ח֧וּלִי וָגֹ֛חִי בַּת־צִיּ֖וֹן כַּיּֽוֹלֵדָ֑ה כִּֽי־עַתָּה֩ תֵצְאִ֨י מִקִּרְיָ֜ה וְשָׁכַ֣נְתְּ בַּשָּׂדֶ֗ה וּבָ֤את עַד־בָּבֶל֙ שָׁ֣ם תִּנָּצֵ֔לִי שָׁ֚ם יִגְאָלֵ֣ךְ יְהוָ֔ה מִכַּ֖ף אֹיְבָֽיִךְ׃
