Zion's Victory Over the Nations
Many nations gather against Zion to profane her, but they do not know the thoughts and plans of the Lord. He has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor. The daughter of Zion is called to rise up and thresh, with horns of iron and hooves of bronze to crush the peoples, and their unjust gain shall be devoted to the Lord of all the earth.
Mika 4,11-13
11Now many nations are gathered against you, saying, "Let her be defiled, and let our eyes gloat over Zion."
וְעַתָּ֛ה נֶאֶסְפ֥וּ עָלַ֖יִךְ גּוֹיִ֣ם רַבִּ֑ים הָאֹמְרִ֣ים תֶּחֱנָ֔ף וְתַ֥חַז בְּצִיּ֖וֹן עֵינֵֽינוּ׃
12But they do not know the thoughts of the LORD; they do not understand his plan, that he has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.
וְהֵ֗מָּה לֹ֤א יָֽדְעוּ֙ מַחְשְׁב֣וֹת יְהוָ֔ה וְלֹ֥א הֵבִ֖ינוּ עֲצָת֑וֹ כִּ֥י קִבְּצָ֖ם כֶּעָמִ֥יר גֹּֽרְנָה׃
13Rise and thresh, daughter of Zion, for I will make your horn iron and your hooves bronze, and you will crush many peoples. You will devote their unjust gain to the LORD, their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.
ק֧וּמִי וָד֣וֹשִׁי בַת־צִיּ֗וֹן כִּֽי־קַרְנֵ֞ךְ אָשִׂ֤ים בַּרְזֶל֙ וּפַרְסֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ אָשִׂ֣ים נְחוּשָׁ֔ה וַהֲדִקּ֖וֹת עַמִּ֣ים רַבִּ֑ים וְהַחֲרַמְתִּ֤י לַֽיהוָה֙ בִּצְעָ֔ם וְחֵילָ֖ם לַאֲד֥וֹן כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃
