Haggith was one of King David's wives and the mother of Adonijah, who was David's fourth son. She is best known through her son Adonijah's attempt to seize the throne from Solomon after David's death.

Haggith gave birth to Adonijah, who became David's fourth son, born in Hebron.
2the third, Absalom, son of Maacah, daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah, son of Haggith;
הַשְּׁלִשִׁי֙ לְאַבְשָׁל֣וֹם בֶּֽן־מַעֲכָ֔ה בַּת־תַּלְמַ֖י מֶ֣לֶךְ גְּשׁ֑וּר הָרְבִיעִ֖י אֲדֹנִיָּ֥ה בֶן־חַגִּֽית׃
Adonijah's rebellion and claim to the throne
Adonijah, the son of Haggith, attempted to seize the kingdom from Solomon after David's death, which led to his downfall.
5Now Adonijah son of Haggith put himself forward, saying, "I will be king." He provided himself with chariots and horsemen and fifty men to run ahead of him.
וַאֲדֹנִיָּ֧ה בֶן־חַגִּ֛ית מִתְנַשֵּׂ֥א לֵאמֹ֖ר אֲנִ֣י אֶמְלֹ֑ךְ וַיַּ֣עַשׂ ל֗וֹ רֶ֚כֶב וּפָ֣רָשִׁ֔ים וַחֲמִשִּׁ֥ים אִ֖ישׁ רָצִ֥ים לְפָנָֽיו׃
6His father had never rebuked him or asked, "Why have you done this?" He was also very handsome, and he was born next after Absalom.
וְלֹֽא־עֲצָב֨וֹ אָבִ֤יו מִיָּמָיו֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר מַדּ֖וּעַ כָּ֣כָה עָשִׂ֑יתָ וְגַם־ה֤וּא טֽוֹב־תֹּ֙אַר֙ מְאֹ֔ד וְאֹת֥וֹ יָלְדָ֖ה אַחֲרֵ֥י אַבְשָׁלֽוֹם׃
