Peter's Mother-in-Law Healed
After Jesus had been in the synagogue in Capernaum, he went home to Simon Peter and Andrew. Peter's mother-in-law was lying sick with a fever. Jesus went to her, took her by the hand, and raised her up. The fever left her, and she began to serve them.
Markus 1,29-31
29As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the house of Simon and Andrew.
Καὶ ⸀εὐθὺς ἐκ τῆς συναγωγῆς ⸂ἐξελθόντες ἦλθον⸃ εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν Σίμωνος καὶ Ἀνδρέου μετὰ Ἰακώβου καὶ Ἰωάννου.
30Simon's mother-in-law was lying sick with a fever, and they told him about her at once.
ἡ δὲ πενθερὰ Σίμωνος κατέκειτο πυρέσσουσα, καὶ ⸀εὐθὺς λέγουσιν αὐτῷ περὶ αὐτῆς.
31He went to her, took her by the hand, and raised her up. The fever left her, and she began to serve them.
καὶ προσελθὼν ἤγειρεν αὐτὴν κρατήσας τῆς ⸀χειρός· καὶ ἀφῆκεν αὐτὴν ὁ ⸀πυρετός, καὶ διηκόνει αὐτοῖς.
Matthäus 8,14-15
14When Jesus came to Peter's house, he saw Peter's mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever.
Καὶ ἐλθὼν ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν Πέτρου εἶδεν τὴν πενθερὰν αὐτοῦ βεβλημένην καὶ πυρέσσουσαν·
15He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she got up and began to serve him.
καὶ ἥψατο τῆς χειρὸς αὐτῆς, καὶ ἀφῆκεν αὐτὴν ὁ πυρετός, καὶ ἠγέρθη καὶ διηκόνει αὐτῷ.
Lukas 4,38-39
38Leaving the synagogue, he went to Simon's house. Simon's mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked him to help her.
Ἀναστὰς δὲ ⸀ἀπὸ τῆς συναγωγῆς εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν Σίμωνος. πενθερὰ δὲ τοῦ Σίμωνος ἦν συνεχομένη πυρετῷ μεγάλῳ, καὶ ἠρώτησαν αὐτὸν περὶ αὐτῆς.
39He stood over her, rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up at once and began to serve them.
καὶ ἐπιστὰς ἐπάνω αὐτῆς ἐπετίμησεν τῷ πυρετῷ, καὶ ἀφῆκεν αὐτήν· παραχρῆμα δὲ ἀναστᾶσα διηκόνει αὐτοῖς.
