Ara is a biblical figure known exclusively from the genealogy of the tribe of Asher in 1 Chronicles. He is listed as the son of Jether in 1 Chron 7:38, along with his brothers Jeftunne and Pispa. Beyond this brief mention, Ara has no independent narrative role in Scripture.
