Jeriel was one of the sons of Tola, son of Issachar, and is mentioned in 1 Chronicles as one of the heads of his families. He belonged to the tribe of Issachar and was among the brave warriors recorded in the genealogies. His significance lies in his role as a patriarch and leader within his clan in Israel.
