Paul sent Tychicus to the church in Ephesus with his letter, to inform them about how Paul was doing and to encourage their hearts.
21 So that you also may know how I am and what I am doing, Tychicus, our dear brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will tell you everything. griech Ἵνα δὲ ⸂εἰδῆτε καὶ ὑμεῖς⸃ τὰ κατʼ ἐμέ, τί πράσσω, πάντα ⸂γνωρίσει ὑμῖν⸃ Τυχικὸς ὁ ἀγαπητὸς ἀδελφὸς καὶ πιστὸς διάκονος ἐν κυρίῳ,
22 I am sending him to you for this very reason: that you may know how things are with us, and that he may encourage your hearts. griech ὃν ἔπεμψα πρὸς ὑμᾶς εἰς αὐτὸ τοῦτο ἵνα γνῶτε τὰ περὶ ἡμῶν καὶ παρακαλέσῃ τὰς καρδίας ὑμῶν.
Tychicus was sent together with Onesimus to Colossae with Paul's letter, to inform the church about Paul's situation and comfort them.
7 Tychicus will tell you all about my situation. He is a beloved brother, a faithful servant and fellow slave in the Lord. griech Τὰ κατʼ ἐμὲ πάντα γνωρίσει ὑμῖν Τυχικὸς ὁ ἀγαπητὸς ἀδελφὸς καὶ πιστὸς διάκονος καὶ σύνδουλος ἐν κυρίῳ,
8 I am sending him to you for this very purpose, so that you may know how we are and that he may encourage your hearts. griech ὃν ἔπεμψα πρὸς ὑμᾶς εἰς αὐτὸ τοῦτο ἵνα ⸀γνῶτε τὰ περὶ ⸀ἡμῶν καὶ παρακαλέσῃ τὰς καρδίας ὑμῶν,
9 With him comes Onesimus, our faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They will tell you everything that is happening here. griech σὺν Ὀνησίμῳ τῷ πιστῷ καὶ ἀγαπητῷ ἀδελφῷ, ὅς ἐστιν ἐξ ὑμῶν· πάντα ὑμῖν γνωρίσουσιν τὰ ὧδε.
Paul considered sending either Artemas or Tychicus to Titus in Crete, so that Titus could travel on to Paul in Nicopolis.
12 As soon as I send Artemas to you, or Tychicus, do your best to come to me at Nicopolis, for I have decided to spend the winter there. griech Ὅταν πέμψω Ἀρτεμᾶν πρὸς σὲ ἢ Τυχικόν, σπούδασον ἐλθεῖν πρός με εἰς Νικόπολιν, ἐκεῖ γὰρ κέκρικα παραχειμάσαι.
During his second imprisonment in Rome, Paul sent Tychicus to Ephesus, possibly to relieve Timothy so that Timothy could come to Paul.
12 Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus. griech Τυχικὸν δὲ ἀπέστειλα εἰς Ἔφεσον.
