The chief priests plan to kill Lazarus
After Lazarus was raised from the dead, the chief priests gathered to plan his death because many Jews believed in Jesus on account of him. John 12:9-11
Juan 12,9-11
9A large crowd of the Jews learned that he was there, and they came, not only because of Jesus but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.
Ἔγνω ⸀οὖν ὄχλος πολὺς ἐκ τῶν Ἰουδαίων ὅτι ἐκεῖ ἐστιν, καὶ ἦλθον οὐ διὰ τὸν Ἰησοῦν μόνον, ἀλλʼ ἵνα καὶ τὸν Λάζαρον ἴδωσιν ὃν ἤγειρεν ἐκ νεκρῶν.
10So the chief priests made plans to kill Lazarus as well,
ἐβουλεύσαντο δὲ οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς ἵνα καὶ τὸν Λάζαρον ἀποκτείνωσιν,
11because on account of him many of the Jews were going over and believing in Jesus.
ὅτι πολλοὶ διʼ αὐτὸν ὑπῆγον τῶν Ἰουδαίων καὶ ἐπίστευον εἰς τὸν Ἰησοῦν.
