Eliezer, son of Dodavahu from Mareshah, prophesied against King Jehoshaphat because he had formed a trade alliance with the wicked king Ahaziah of Israel. The ships he had built were destroyed as the prophecy stated.

Prophesies Against Jehoshaphat's Alliance
Eliezer predicted that Jehoshaphat's ships would be wrecked because he had allied himself with Ahaziah, and so it happened.
37Then Eliezer son of Dodavahu of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, "Because you have allied yourself with Ahaziah, the LORD will break apart what you have made." So the ships were wrecked and could not sail to Tarshish.
וַיִּתְנַבֵּ֞א אֱלִיעֶ֤זֶר בֶּן־דֹּדָוָ֙הוּ֙ מִמָּ֣רֵשָׁ֔ה עַל־יְהוֹשָׁפָ֖ט לֵאמֹ֑ר כְּהִֽתְחַבֶּרְךָ֣ עִם־אֲחַזְיָ֗הוּ פָּרַ֤ץ יְהוָה֙ אֶֽת־מַעֲשֶׂ֔יךָ וַיִּשָּׁבְר֣וּ אֳנִיּ֔וֹת וְלֹ֥א עָצְר֖וּ לָלֶ֥כֶת אֶל־תַּרְשִֽׁישׁ׃
