John's Greeting to Gaius
The apostle John writes his third letter to his dear friend Gaius, expressing his love and care for him.
John rejoices at the reports that Gaius walks in the truth, declaring that nothing gives him greater joy than hearing that his children live in the truth.

A Gaius from Derbe is mentioned as one of Paul's travel companions during his third missionary journey and was among those involved in the riots in Ephesus.
