Beeri was a Hittite who lived in the land of Canaan during the time of the patriarchs. He is known as the father of Judith, who became one of Esau's wives. The marriage between Esau and Judith caused great grief to Isaac and Rebekah, since it was with a woman from the Canaanite peoples.
Esau took Judith, daughter of the Hittite Beeri, as his wife when he was forty years old. This marriage was a significant turning point in family history.
