Chloe (church member)
Member of the Corinthian church and informant
Chloe was a woman in the early Christian church whose household informed the apostle Paul about divisions in the church at Corinth. She is mentioned only once in the Bible, but her role as an information source was important for Paul's pastoral care of the Corinthian church.

Chloe's people report divisions
Members of Chloe's household informed Paul that there were quarrels and divisions in the church at Corinth, where people were gathering around different leaders such as Paul, Apollos, and Cephas.
11For it has been reported to me about you, my brothers and sisters, by Chloe's people, that there is quarreling among you.
12What I mean is this: each of you says, "I follow Paul," or "I follow Apollos," or "I follow Cephas," or "I follow Christ."
Context for Paul's exhortations on unity
The information from Chloe's people gave Paul grounds to write about the importance of unity in Christ and warn against factionalism in the church.
10I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another, that there be no divisions among you, and that you be united in the same mind and the same purpose.
13Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
μεμέρισται ὁ Χριστός; μὴ Παῦλος ἐσταυρώθη ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν, ἢ εἰς τὸ ὄνομα Παύλου ἐβαπτίσθητε;
