Accueil Personnages Maadja Maadja (also spelled Maadiah or Maadja) was one of the priests who returned to Jerusalem with Zerubbabel after the Babylonian exile. He is mentioned in the book of Nehemiah as part of the priestly families that served in the rebuilt temple service. His descendants continued the priesthood in subsequent generations.
