Sibeon was a Horite chieftain and descendant of Seir who lived in the region of Edom. He is mentioned in Genesis and 1 Chronicles as the father of Anah, known for his son Anah discovering hot springs in the desert while grazing donkeys. Sibeon belonged to the original people of the Seir mountains before Esau's descendants settled there.
