Judas Iscariot's father
Simon Iscariot is known only from the Bible as the father of Judas Iscariot, the disciple who betrayed Jesus. His surname 'Iscariot' may mean 'man from Kerioth', a town in Judea, which would make his family the only non-Galilean among the twelve apostles.
