2 and also some women who had been healed of evil spirits and diseases: Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out; grek καὶ γυναῖκές τινες αἳ ἦσαν τεθεραπευμέναι ἀπὸ πνευμάτων πονηρῶν καὶ ἀσθενειῶν, Μαρία ἡ καλουμένη Μαγδαληνή, ἀφʼ ἧς δαιμόνια ἑπτὰ ἐξεληλύθει,
3 Joanna, the wife of Herod's steward Chuza; Susanna; and many others, who provided for them out of their own means. grek καὶ Ἰωάννα γυνὴ Χουζᾶ ἐπιτρόπου Ἡρῴδου καὶ Σουσάννα καὶ ἕτεραι πολλαί, αἵτινες διηκόνουν αὐτοῖς ⸀ἐκ τῶν ὑπαρχόντων αὐταῖς.
9 ⟦Now when he had risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons. grek ⟦Ἀναστὰς δὲ πρωῒ πρώτῃ σαββάτου ἐφάνη πρῶτον Μαρίᾳ τῇ Μαγδαληνῇ, ⸀παρʼ ἧς ἐκβεβλήκει ἑπτὰ δαιμόνια.
Mary Magdalene was among the women who stood at the cross and watched Jesus die.
55 Many women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee, caring for his needs. grek
56 Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of Zebedee's sons. grek ἐν αἷς ἦν Μαρία ἡ Μαγδαληνὴ καὶ Μαρία ἡ τοῦ Ἰακώβου καὶ ⸀Ἰωσὴφ μήτηρ καὶ ἡ μήτηρ τῶν υἱῶν Ζεβεδαίου.
25 Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother, his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. grek
Mary Magdalene was present when Jesus was laid in the tomb and noted where he was placed.
61 Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were sitting there, facing the tomb. grek ἦν δὲ ἐκεῖ ⸀Μαριὰμ ἡ Μαγδαληνὴ καὶ ἡ ἄλλη Μαρία καθήμεναι ἀπέναντι τοῦ τάφου.
Early in the morning, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found it empty. She ran to tell Peter and John.
1 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. grek Τῇ δὲ μιᾷ τῶν σαββάτων Μαρία ἡ Μαγδαληνὴ ἔρχεται πρωῒ σκοτίας ἔτι οὔσης εἰς τὸ μνημεῖον, καὶ βλέπει τὸν λίθον ἠρμένον ἐκ τοῦ μνημείου.
2 So she ran to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and told them, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don't know where they have put him." grek
Mary wept at the tomb when Jesus appeared to her. She recognized him when he said her name and became the first to proclaim the resurrection.
11 But Mary stood outside the tomb, weeping. As she wept, she bent down to look inside, grek
14 With that she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not know it was Jesus. grek ⸀ταῦτα εἰποῦσα ἐστράφη εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω, καὶ θεωρεῖ τὸν Ἰησοῦν ἑστῶτα, καὶ οὐκ ᾔδει ὅτι Ἰησοῦς ἐστιν.
15 "Woman, why are you weeping?" Jesus said to her. "Who is it you are looking for?" Thinking he was the gardener, she said, "Sir, if you have carried him off, tell me where you have put him, and I will take him away." grek
16 Jesus said to her, "Mary." She turned to him and said in Aramaic, "Rabboni!"—which means Teacher. grek
17 Jesus said to her, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'" grek λέγει ⸀αὐτῇ Ἰησοῦς· Μή μου ἅπτου, οὔπω γὰρ ἀναβέβηκα πρὸς τὸν ⸀πατέρα· πορεύου δὲ πρὸς τοὺς ἀδελφούς μου καὶ εἰπὲ αὐτοῖς· Ἀναβαίνω πρὸς τὸν πατέρα μου καὶ πατέρα ὑμῶν καὶ θεόν μου καὶ θεὸν ὑμῶν.
18 Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord!" And she told them that he had said these things to her. grek
