Healing of a Leper
A man full of leprosy threw himself down before Jesus and begged: "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." Jesus reached out his hand, touched him, and said: "I am willing. Be clean!" Immediately the leprosy left him. Jesus ordered him to say nothing about it, but sent him to the priest to present an offering for his cleansing as Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.
Luke 5,12-14
12While Jesus was in one of the towns, there was a man covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged him, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean."
Καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ εἶναι αὐτὸν ἐν μιᾷ τῶν πόλεων καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀνὴρ πλήρης λέπρας· ⸂καὶ ἰδὼν⸃ τὸν Ἰησοῦν πεσὼν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον ἐδεήθη αὐτοῦ λέγων· Κύριε, ἐὰν θέλῃς δύνασαί με καθαρίσαι.
13Jesus reached out his hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing. Be clean." And immediately the leprosy left him.
καὶ ἐκτείνας τὴν χεῖρα ἥψατο αὐτοῦ ⸀εἰπών· Θέλω, καθαρίσθητι· καὶ εὐθέως ἡ λέπρα ἀπῆλθεν ἀπʼ αὐτοῦ.
14Jesus ordered him to tell no one, but said, "Go, show yourself to the priest, and make the offering for your cleansing, as Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."
καὶ αὐτὸς παρήγγειλεν αὐτῷ μηδενὶ εἰπεῖν, ἀλλὰ ἀπελθὼν δεῖξον σεαυτὸν τῷ ἱερεῖ, καὶ προσένεγκε περὶ τοῦ καθαρισμοῦ σου καθὼς προσέταξεν Μωϋσῆς εἰς μαρτύριον αὐτοῖς.
