The Call to Flee from the North and Zion's Future Glory

The Lord calls his people to flee from the land of the north and from Babylon’s daughter, for he has scattered them to the four winds of heaven. He promises to raise his hand against the nations that plunder them – whoever touches them touches the apple of his eye – and they will become plunder for their own slaves. Daughter Zion should rejoice, for the Lord is coming and will dwell in her midst. Many nations will join themselves to the Lord and become his people; Judah will be his inheritance, and Jerusalem will again be chosen. All flesh is called to be silent before the Lord, who has risen from his holy dwelling.
