The life of Jesus

The Advocate and the Disciples' Testimony

Jesus promises the disciples that he will send the Advocate, the Spirit of truth, from the Father. The Spirit will testify about Jesus, and the disciples will also testify because they have been with him from the beginning.

John 15,26-27

26When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father—he will testify about me. [Footnote: Greek paraklētos, also rendered Advocate, Counselor, or Comforter.]
27And you also are to testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.
